I am recruiting a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead and manager a team of Team Leaders and multi-skilled engineers in a 24/7 food manufacturing facility in Wakefield.

Description

The Maintenance Manager will report into the site Engineering Manager and will:

Effectively manage the production maintenance through a team of Team Leaders and multi-skilled engineers
Develop and implement proactive maintenance schedules
Comply with all health and safety regulations
Implement continuous improvement strategies to increase efficiency
Work closely with production management to minimize downtime
Provide technical support and training to the engineering team

Profile

The successful Maintenance Manager will possess a range of the following:

Minimum HNC qualification
Electrical bias with 18th edition qualification
Significant experience in a team leader or maintenance management role within the FMCG sector
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Excellent leadership and team management skills
The ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using maintenance management software
