EYFS Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support (Autism & Speech & Language Needs)Location: WallaseyStart Date: After May Half TermContract: Full-Time, Temporary until 22nd July 2025Pay: £106 per day Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a caring and inclusive primary school in Wallasey who are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism and Speech and Language needs. This is a full-time, temporary role beginning after the May Half Term, continuing until the end of the academic year on 22nd July 2025. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a pupil in EYFS with Autism and communication needs
  • Assist with speech and language development through targeted strategies
  • Support the child's engagement, behaviour, and social interaction
  • Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals
  • Maintain a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting children with Autism and/or speech and language needs
  • Understanding of EYFS development and strategies to support early learning
  • Calm, patient and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
