Cover Supervisor - Wallasey
Prospero Teaching are working with a secondary school in Wallasey who are looking to appoint a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor. This role is ideal for graduates considering a career in teaching or for experienced support staff looking to take on more classroom responsibility.
The school has a strong focus on creating a supportive learning environment and is seeking someone who can maintain high expectations in the classroom, deliver pre-prepared lessons, and ensure students remain engaged with their work. You will be covering a range of subjects, so flexibility and strong behaviour management skills are essential.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting
- Be confident managing classroom behaviour
- Be adaptable and able to supervise across different subjects
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification (desirable but not essential)
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location - Wallasey
- Position - Cover Supervisor
- Start date - As soon as possible
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time/part time - Full time
- Minimum rate of pay - 90 - 110 per day
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
