Job Title: Litigator
Salary: £30,000-£40,000 (DOE) per annum (Full-Time, Permanent, 35 hours)
Location: Liverpool City Centre (Office based)
Shifts: Flexibility to work between the hours of 9am and 8pm, Mon-Sat

Do you have strong Litigation experience mixed in with strong post qualification experience law holds an interest in continue to build their career within the legal sector? We are hiring for a Litigator to join our legal client at their head office in the Liverpool city centre.

As a Litigator, you will be expected to handle all aspects of cases from the pre-action stage up too, and including appeals, if required. You will be proactive in developing and following appropriate dynamic litigation strategies both on your own accord and within the team.

What You’ll Do:

• Managing a civil litigation caseload from its inception to conclusion.
• Investment of time to become a subject matter expert in your litigation practice area.
• Creating initial case plans by assessing client instructions and analysing available documentation.
• Liaising with clients to prepare statements and to obtain documentation evidence.

Key Skills We’re Looking For:

• Hold a Solicitor Qualification, CILEX or be qualified by experience (3 years litigation is essential).
• HDR (Housing Disrepair) experience is preferred but not essential.
• Effective use of systems experience – case management and time recording.
• Fast Track Litigation experience is essential.
