Midday Assistant - Wallasey
Prospero Teaching are working with a primary school in Wallasey who are looking to appoint a Midday Assistant to support their lunchtime team.
The school is a welcoming and supportive environment where staff work together to create a safe and positive experience for pupils. This role will involve supervising children during the lunch break, helping to maintain good behaviour, supporting play activities, and ensuring the dining hall and playground remain safe and friendly spaces.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience working with children (in a school or community setting)
- Be confident managing groups of pupils
- Demonstrate patience, positivity and strong communication skills
- Be reliable and able to work flexibly during the midday period
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location - Wallasey
- Position - Midday Assistant
- Start date - As soon as possible
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time/part time - Part time (lunchtime hours)
- Minimum rate of pay - 13.68 p/h
- Hours - Typically 11:30am to 1:30pm
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
