Your new role

  • Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons to students aged 11-16.
  • Develop and implement a diverse curriculum that caters to all abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation.
  • Organise and oversee extracurricular sports activities and events.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.

What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you must be a qualified PE teacher with a passion for physical education. You should have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 PE and be able to engage and motivate students effectively. You will:* Be enthusiastic and versatile.* Have a creative and inclusive approach to teaching practical and theoretical PE lessons that inspires all students to embrace sport and motivates them to want to live an active and healthy lifestyle.* Have teaching experience and strong knowledge of the UK PE curriculum.* Be resilient and effectively manage behaviour.* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one.
