This is a temporary science teacher job with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. The leadership team have a clear vision for the school and communicate it very well to create an inclusive ethos and a strong community feeling. The school welcome applications from ECT's and experienced teachers.Your new roleStarting in September, you will be a key part of the dedicated Science department, including full teaching responsibilities such as:
- Teach KS3 - KS4
- Nurture a range of learning abilities
- Staff meetings
- Parents evenings
- Pastoral responsibilities,
- Planning and preparation of lessons
- Marking and assessment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECTs are welcome to apply.
- Bachelor's degree in science or related field
- Recent experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
- Strong behaviour/classroom management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
