Desian Education are supporting a Wallasey based Primary school who are seeking an SEN specialist KS1 or KS2 teacher to cover a long term role starting in September 2025. This SEN Teacher position will be starting in September 2025 and will be for 12 months. The successful candidate will need to have a strong commitment to SEN provision and have experience in this area. You will be supported by an experienced Head Teacher and an experienced team of teachers and support staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons.
  • Assessing, monitoring, and supporting the progress of all pupils to ensure they achieve their full potential.
  • Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver a cohesive and enriched curriculum.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to support learning and development.
