We are seeking a dedicated and professional Personal Assistant to support the Headmaster at Sherwood Park, a respected SEN school located in Wallington. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the Headmaster's schedule and assisting with various administrative projects.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage and organise the Headmaster's diary, ensuring efficient scheduling of appointments, meetings, and school events.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the Headmaster, handling communications and queries with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of correspondence, reports, and documents.
  • Organise and coordinate meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • Support the Headmaster in project management and execution, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to facilitate smooth school operations.
  • Handle logistical arrangements for school events and activities as directed by the Headmaster.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar administrative role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with school management software.
  • Experience in an educational environment, particularly in SEN settings, is highly desirable.
