Job Title: Management Accountant (Part-Qualified or QBE)

Location: Walsall (Hybrid)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Top of the salary range will be offered to a candidate with vast experience in Management Accounts.

I am currently recruiting for a lovely Reed client based in Walsall. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced,  Part Qualified Management Accountant to further their skills and knowledge with support from a fantastic Finance Manager! You will be responsible for the completion of Management Accounts for 3 entities within the business. The team a friendly, positive and supportive, they are long standing with a very low staff turnover! We are looking for a likeminded candidate that would like to stay in this role for years to come!

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Analyse and support the production of monthly management accounts, ensuring adherence to financial policies and timelines.
  • Review and post month-end accruals and prepayments, ensuring accurate coding and availability of supporting documents.
  • Lead the budget and forecasting processes, collaborating with senior stakeholders to align budgets with future plans.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts and ensure readiness for audit by maintaining thorough documentation and supporting the Head of Finance.

Ideally, You Will:

  • Have at least 2 years of experience working in Management Accounts where you have completed the process without supervision.
  • Experience from the public sector such as the NHS, Care, Council or Schools would be ideal but is not essential.
  • Show stability in your CV and be looking for a role to stay in for years to come!
  • Be a positive individual with a can-do attitude and great communication skills!
