Overview

Due to ambitious opening targets, our established Retail client based in Walsall is looking for an experienced and trailblazing Accounts Receivable Manager to control the function and look after two direct reports. This opportunity lends itself to an individual that has previously supervised or managed, completed 1-2-1s, that can forecast for the department and can hit cash collection targets.

The successful candidate for this role will be an outgoing and self-motivated Receivables specialist, with a proven record of accomplishment of using their prolific rapport building skills to confidently form relationships with clients. You will have previously put accounts on stop, set credit limits and create payment plans, and may have also gone legal. It is crucial that you have been able to supervise and feel you are able to lead a team to hit their targets when discussing strategy and cash collection performance.

Skills Needed

  • Be immediately available.
  • Be a charismatic, communicative individual that strives in building relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to insure payment terms being met
  • Effectively be able to use your skills to reconcile accounts, manage your collection process and any key accounts
  • Have supervisory or mentoring experience with a small team, so you can hit the ground running.
