Contek is seeking a skilled CNC Sliding Head Turner for a reputable precision engineering company in Brownhills, Walsall.
The position is full-time and permanent, focusing on the manufacture of bespoke engine parts for major clients like Caterpillar and Cummins Engines.
The pay ranges from £19 to £20 per hour, depending on experience, with consistent overtime available at time and a third.
Candidates must have previous experience working on sliding head CNC lathes and a committed, driven approach to work.
The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 06:00 AM to 04:30 PM, offering a four-day work week.

Contek are currently working with a reputable precision engineering company, located inBrownhills, Walsall. Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking for a skilledCNC Sliding Head Turnerto join the team on afull-time, permanentbasis.

ABOUT THE COMPANY:The company specializes in the manufacture of bespoke engine parts for companies such as Caterpillar and Cummins Engines.

PAY:£19 - £20 per hour (Depending on experience)

WORKING HOURS:Monday to Thursday (06:00AMuntil 16:30PM) (4 day working week)

OVERTIME:Overtime is available consistently and is paid at time and a third.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working on a range of Citizen and Miyano CNC lathes.

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience working on sliding head CNC lathes is required.
A committed and driven approach to work.
Ambition to stay with the company long-term.
To have a hardworking approach towards daily requirements.
To be able to work unsupervised.
To be positive and self-motivated.
