The school has recently developed resourced provision to support children with communication and interaction needs, including autism and speech and language difficulties. This provision is purpose-built and designed to offer a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment.

You will be working in our EYFS and KS1 resourced provision, supporting up to 8 children alongside the class teacher and two additional teaching assistants. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting pupils with SEND in their learning and development
  • Leading small group interventions and activities
  • Assisting with planning and delivering tailored learning experiences
  • Promoting independence, emotional wellbeing, and communication skills
  • Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

What you'll need to succeed

  • A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children with SEND, ideally in EYFS or KS1
  • A nurturing, patient and flexible approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
