Assembler

General electrical assembly

Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 17:00pm (38 hour working week)

Experience required for an Assembler

  • Have good attention to detail
  • Electrical assembly, panel wiring a definite advantage
  • Done some assembly work - intricate work
  • Able to read or understand instructions
  • Be keen and enthusiastic
  • Used hand tools before - screwdriver, drill - any wiring or electrical work
  • Working in manufacturing and production industry would be an advantage

Duties of an Assembler

  • Working as part of a team
  • Assembling wires or electrical kits to the required standard - (training is provided)
  • Using basic hand tools
  • Building electrical panels
  • Manufacturing small components
