The Office Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of daily operations within a large industrial and manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be supporting the Factory Manager and another team as well as organising on site meetings and general clerical duties.

This role is with a well-established industrial and manufacturing company known for its strong presence in the market. They are based in Alridge and now seeking an Office Administrator to join their team. As a large, industry leading organisation, they pride themselves on delivering quality products and fostering an organised and efficient work environment. They have been established for 200 years and employ over 2000 staff members.

Description

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for factory operations.
  • Coordinate schedules and appointments to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Assist in processing orders and managing inventory systems.
  • Provide administrative support to the management team as needed.
  • Handle incoming communications and redirect them appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
  • Generate and distribute reports related to production and performance metrics.
  • Support the team in maintaining an organised and efficient workspace.
  • Support in the Administration of payroll functions

Profile

A successful Office Administrator should have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Experience supporting with payroll functions.
  • Experience using JD Edwards software would be beneficial.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using office software and inventory management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to handling tasks and challenges.
