Attendance/Admissions Clerk

- Hours: 36.5 hours per week (8:00am-4:00pm 3 days per week and 8:30am-4:00pm the other 2 days per week)
REED Education is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Attendance/Admissions Clerk to join the team at a vibrant primary school in Walsall. This role is ideal for someone who is meticulous, organised, and committed to maintaining high standards in school administration.
About the Role:
- Operate the MIS registration system and monitor daily attendance.
- Investigate absences, ensure accurate coding, and provide timely reports.
- Communicate with parents and conduct home visits as needed.
- Manage internal and external reporting on attendance and admissions.
- Oversee waiting lists and admissions processes in compliance with national guidelines.
- Liaise with various stakeholders, including parents and local authorities.
- Reporting on CPOMS
Who We’re Looking For:
- An individual with GCSE Maths and English qualifications.
- Someone with excellent attention to detail and accuracy in their work.
- Previous school office experience is desirable, but training will be provided.
- A professional who can handle confidential information with discretion.
- A team player who can work under the Business Manager effectively.
- Someone that holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one).
