This school is looking for a Year 1 Teacher. You will plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 1 children. You will implement effective phonics teaching strategies to support early reading development, assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic growth. Additionally, you will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment, collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student learning and well-being, and participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities. What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 1 or early years.
  • Phonics training and experience in delivering phonics programs.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
