PSR Solutions are working with an established client within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to Join their Commercial team on a permanent basis. This role with be a project based out of their Walsall office working across projects in the West Midlands.
Quantity Surveyor Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levels
- Ensure accurate cash flow reporting takes place
- Carry out cost management, including forecasting
- Update the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plan
- Accurate monthly forecasting
- Ability to challenge resources and costs
- Maintain deadlines in line with the monthly commercial calendar
Quantity Surveyor Requirements
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial related course
- NEC Contract experience is Essential
- Previous experience in the construction industry
- Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.
- Have knowledge and experience in estimation and cost analysis.
- Excellent communication, numeric and computer literacy skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid driving licence
Quantity Surveyor Benefits
- Salary - 45,000 - 55,000
- Based in Walsall, West Midlands
