Job Type:Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours. No hybrid working
Rate:£450 - £500 Per day
Job Duties:- Manage all financial aspects of a light civils project
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects
- Conduct risk assessments and advise on contractual matters
- Monitor and report on project financial progress
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- RICS or CIOB accreditation
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying
- Experience in managing commercial projects in civils sector.
- Proficiency in construction contracts and procurement processes
- Advanced knowledge of construction technology and materials
- Strong IT skills, including MS Excel and Quantity Surveying software
- Chartered status with RICS or CIOB
- Postgraduate qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Office / site based
- Regular working hours with occasional overtime to meet project deadlines
