A Salaried General Practitioner vacancy has become available at a well-established practice. Their team is committed to providing patients with high quality general practice care from modern, purpose-built premises. They provide a friendly atmosphere and places high-quality patient outcomes at the centre of all activities. You will enjoy working with a great team of GPs, Practice Nurses, ANPs, Pharmacists.
The successful candidate will work closely with GPs, Advanced Practitioners, Healthcare Assistants, and other members of the team to deliver a wide range of high-quality nursing services. The role includes the management of long-term conditions, health promotion, routine treatment room duties, and involvement in preventative healthcare initiatives.
The role is offered on a part-time basis (3 days per week) or full-time, with flexibility to suit the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of chronic diseases such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, and hypertension
- Cervical cytology (smear tests)
- Childhood and adult immunisations and vaccinations
- Wound care and dressings
- Health screening and health promotion
- Contraceptive advice (desirable but not essential)
- Support with QOF and other practice targets
- Participation in clinical meetings and quality improvement initiatives
