Supply Heroes are looking for an experienced EYFS Nursery Practitioner with experience of working as a nursery nurse /early years teaching assistant to work in a Nursery School based in Walsall. This is a part-time role to start ASAP and will be for the rest of the academic year. It is Monday to Friday from 11:25am to 3:25am.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare, or equivalent, and be able to demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care and education for young children. This is the perfect role for somebody that has a passion in the early years setting!
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing care and education for children aged 0-5 years old
- Planning and delivering stimulating and engaging activities inside and outside the nursery encouraging creativity and learning through play
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and physical development
- Using appropriate assessment and monitoring tools and following the early years framework
- Working as part of a team to create a safe and nurturing environment
- Be a point of contact for parents
- Assist with personal care and other welfare duties
- Have an awareness of child protection issues and safeguarding
