Are you a passionate and experienced Social Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people? Walsall Council is seeking dedicated professionals to join our Children in Careteam, where your expertise and compassion will help shape brighter futures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of children in care, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and development.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and partner agencies.
• Prepare and present reports for court proceedings and reviews.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Proven experience working with children in care.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• 3 years post qualifying experience
