About the Role:
As a SEND Education Support Assistant, you'll work alongside teaching staff to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of learning needs. You'll play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages every child to thrive.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing one-to-one or small group support to students with SEND
- Assisting in delivering personalised learning plans
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Helping with mobility, personal care, and other physical needs when required
- Adapting classroom resources to support individual learning styles
- Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to ensure consistency in care
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
- A patient, understanding, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A genuine interest in supporting pupils with SEND
- Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training
