Key Duties
* Lead whole-class learning using pre-planned lessons
* Support teachers with lesson preparation, delivery and assessment
* Deliver targeted one-to-one and small group interventions
* Support pupils with SEN including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, SLD and PMLD
* Follow EHCPs and support individual learning and behaviour plans
* Use positive behaviour support and de-escalation strategies
* Encourage independence, confidence and social development
* Monitor pupil progress and report feedback to teaching staff
* Work collaboratively with SEN teams and external professionals
* Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment

Candidate Requirements
* HLTA qualification or substantial experience in a similar role
* Previous experience working in SEN or specialist school settings
* Confidence leading lessons and managing classroom behaviour
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A calm, patient and resilient approach
* Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
