Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, were enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Electricity Transmission team. We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.

What will you be doing?
Were looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team working from our Waltham Abbey site office.
Youll be assisting the team with all things Commercial! This includes ongoing implementation of the commercial application in respect of site personnel whilst developing lasting relationships; provision of relevant information for preparation of reports and claims; production of monthly project financial and forecast to complete reports for analysis; assisting the team and Project Manager, Engineers and Planners regarding recovery of contract costs together.
Do you have experience in subcontractor management? Youll be responsible for ensuring all subcontractors and suppliers have submitted compliant quotations/enquiries/applications within the timescale.
Youll attend handover and progress meetings and help produce a site commercial manual and documents to record variations.

What youll bring
- Analytical skills & Financial awareness

- Contract costing, contract law, cost / value reconciliation experience
- Subcontract Management
- Qualification in Quantity Surveying or graduate calibre with previous experience in a Quantity Surveying or Cost Clerk role
