Working closely with the science department, you'll help prepare engaging practical lessons, maintain specialist equipment, and ensure a safe and well-organised learning environment where every student can thrive.Your Key Responsibilities

Prepare, set up, and clear away equipment and materials for science lessons
Support teachers in delivering engaging practical experiments
Maintain, clean, and store laboratory equipment safely
Monitor and manage stock levels of chemicals and resources
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and school policies
Assist in the creation of resources and displays for the science department

What We're Looking For

Experience working in a school or laboratory setting (paid or voluntary)
A practical and organised approach, with strong attention to detail
Good knowledge of science equipment, materials, and safety procedures
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to support learning
Understanding of safeguarding and commitment to student welfare
