Electrical Project Engineer Opportunity - Hyperscale Data Cantre - Hertfordshire
MK Search are partnered with a leading M&E contractor with a turover of c. 500m and a longstanding presence in the data centre, commercial and pharmaceutical construction sectors who are looking to engage with an experienced Electrical Project Engineer for a flagship data centre project in Cheshunt.
You will be part of a well established electrical team assisting in the delivery of electrical packages throughout the biggest data centre in the UK so far,. You will providw dwsign inout, technical assistance and ensure the electrical packages are delivered according to the specification.
Responsiblities:
- Manage the Electrical Engineering for the project, providing weekly reports and updates to the Project Manager, Project Director and the Client.
- You will be responsible for technical compliance as well as ensuring complete and accurate handover information.
- Review and issue Technical Submittals in line with project specifications.
- Review and issue RFI's.
- Manage a team of Electrical engineers & package managers.
- Supply chain and vendor engagement.
- Communicate technical issues as they arise with the project management team.
- Monitor and review engineering progress.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering/ or relevant degree.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Experience in Hyperscale data centers (preferred) or similar high value/fast paced MEP experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
