Hours:           37.5 hours Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm on site every dayÂ
Our client, a specialist charity, are recruiting for an Early Help IDVA with experience of working with victims/survivor as adults and/or children and understanding impact of DA on children as witnesses, and the impact on the relationship between mother and child/ren. Very experienced in Safeguarding - understanding risk and ability to manage crisis.
 Synopsis of duties:
- Management of all safe accommodation services in Hertfordshire (except for the by and for specialist refuge Kushi House).Â
- Management of:Â
- Senior Practitioners (CH, IH, Baldock and dispersed and resilience for Khushi).
- Administration Support Officer.
- Specialist Drugs and Alcohol Practitioner working with Partners to meet the needs of the clients.Â
- Physical and Mental Health IDVA who will provide the Tier 3 support to clients.
- Working in partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies, ensuring that safety is kept central to multi-agency work and the response to domestic abuse.Â
- Management of in reach services providing activities and therapies to clients.Â
- Assessing and monitoring the quality-of-service delivery so clients receive safe and appropriate client led support and that their voice is evident throughout.Â
- Ensuring the safe accommodation contract is delivered in line with the terms and conditions of the contract.
- Ensuring compliance with H&S within the safe accommodation.
- Oversee staffing establishments/on call support to ensure they are consistent with the needs of clients to enable us to deliver safe service.
- Providing guidance to frontline staff on a day-to-day basis, answering case queries and being on hand to provide support and advice as required.
- Working with the CIC to ensure that staff have clear training and development plans in place to allow develop their skills and experience.
- Completing regular case reviews and identifying service gaps to ensure all outcomes are being achieved.
- Ensuring compliance with all organisational policies and procedure.
- Gathering of information for commissioners, providing written reports and data as required.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience of managing safe accommodation services in the VAWG sector
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
- DBS on update service or dated within the last 12 months
- Car driver
