Support Worker

Hertfordshire service working with adults suffering from mental health diagnosis providing housing related support to promote independence.

Would require a driving licence and use of own car

Daily duties:

Working with a caseload of clients
Supporting people suffering from mental health issues and drug and alcohol misuse
Carrying out support plans and risk assessments
Teaching life skills and preparing clients to live independently in the community
Supporting clients with budgeting and applying for housing benefits to reduce rent arrears
Actively encouraging and facilitating activities to engage and involve the young people
Promoting independence at all times
Always adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures
