Support Worker

Hourly Rate: £18 per hour Umbrella or £15.82 PAYE (inc holiday £17.72)

Duration:  3 months

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9-5pm

Hertfordshire service working with adults suffering from mental health diagnosis providing housing related support to promote independence.

Would require a driving licence and use of own car

Daily duties:

  • Working with a caseload of clients
  • Supporting people suffering from mental health issues and drug and alcohol misuse
  • Carrying out support plans and risk assessments
  • Teaching life skills and preparing clients to live independently in the community
  • Supporting clients with budgeting and applying for housing benefits to reduce rent arrears
  • Actively encouraging and facilitating activities to engage and involve the young people
  • Promoting independence at all times
  • Always adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures
