About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Service Manager to lead and develop our domestic violence support service in Waltham Cross. You will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and supporting a dedicated team working directly with vulnerable individuals affected by domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise frontline staff and volunteers to deliver compassionate, person-centered support.

  • Oversee the effective delivery of domestic violence services, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and legal frameworks.

  • Manage service budgets, resources, and reporting to meet organisational and funder requirements.

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local agencies, stakeholders, and multi-agency networks.

  • Monitor service outcomes and quality assurance, using data to drive continuous improvement.

  • Manage risk assessments and ensure all safeguarding protocols are rigorously followed.

  • Support staff development through training, supervision, and performance management.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven leadership and management experience in the domestic violence or related social care sector.

  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and the legal landscape affecting domestic abuse services.

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commitment to confidentiality, equality, and diversity principles.

  • DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
