30 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Primary Special Needs School

Term Time Only contract (work 39 weeks of year)

Your day to day work will involve supporting some of the most vulnerable learners in society.  We are looking for a high calibre of staff with the patience, proactivity, nature and aptitude to provide support dor learners with complex SEND needs with positivity, resilience, kindness and above all, to enjoy your work!

The Permanent SEND Teaching Assistant role will involve:

• Supporting students to access and engage with teacher-led curriculum and learning activities

• Assisting with the implementation of individual education and behaviour plans.

• Supporting with emotional regulation and pastoral needs, as well as educational

• Assisting with personal care, attending to hygiene needs, and administering medication as required.

• Encouraging independence and promoting self-esteem among students.

• Have experience working with children, young people or adults with special educational needs.

• Demonstrate positive attitudes to encourage independence in students.
• Can communicate effectively with all members of the school community.
• Are committed to ongoing training and professional development.
