Adecco are delighted to be supporting their client in recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their team based in Wantage!
Core Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain ledger activity, ensuring journal entries are timely and accurate
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts and key balance sheet items
- Assist with tax compliance and contribute to preparation of tax submissions
- Reconcile shipping transactions and related financial records
- Provide documentation and support for both internal and external audit reviews
- Strengthen financial controls and enhance reporting workflows
- Partner with internal teams to ensure consistent and accurate financial data
- Lead credit control and accounts payable operations
Requirements
- Part Qualified- preferably within CIMA or ACCA
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
- Calm and focused under pressure, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with ERP platforms
- Comfortable working collaboratively and meeting tight deadlines
- Solid IT capabilities and confident decision-making
