We are seeking a motivated and organised HR Administrator to provide comprehensive support to our clients HR Service Centre on a fixed-term contract for a period of 12 months. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in HR administration, looking to contribute to a high-performing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Day-to-Day of the Role:- Serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses in line with agreed SLAs.
- Manage the HR Inbox, completing tasks and distributing others to team members as necessary.
- Provide advice on company policies and procedures to employees and managers.
- Assist in drafting HR-related correspondence such as variation, leaver, and other letters as required.
- Support the Learning and Development initiatives and collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Administer background checks for candidates and current employees as needed.
- Coordinate policy renewals with policy owners to ensure timely updates.
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration, maintaining accurate records in HRIS and ensuring updates across platforms.
- Suggest and implement process improvements and ensure GDPR compliance.
- Conduct regular audits in line with employment lifecycle processes and support HRIS enhancements to optimise functionality.
- Prepare HR reports as required and actively contribute to the overall excellence of the HR team.
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator, preferably within an HR Service Centre environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and its implications for employers.
- Basic understanding of payroll and pension legislation.
- Proficiency in using technology platforms such as Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging collaboratively at all levels.
- Ability to work flexibly and meet tight deadlines.
- Resilient, with the ability to prioritise under pressure and maintain confidentiality in line with GDPR.
