Job Title: HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant)

Pay Scale: 89.00 - 100.00 per day
Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a fresh challenge? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Wantage is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to children's learning and development.
As a HLTA, you will:
- Lead small groups and provide 1:1 interventions to support pupil progress
- Deliver planned lessons and provide cover where required
- Assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging learning activities
- Support children across a range of abilities, including those with additional needs
- Contribute actively to the wider life of the school
The ideal HLTA will:
- Have proven classroom experience in a HLTA or similar role
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be adaptable, proactive, and passionate about supporting pupils' education
- Be committed to continuous professional development
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS clearance
