We have an exciting opportunity to join a great client of ours as a Sample Compounder .

The key objectives of the role are to assist with production of samples for internal and external clients. Ideally you will have lab experience or a chemistry background would be preferred but not essential.

Duties Include:

  • Production of sample batches in an accurate, safe and timely manner
  • Accurate manufacture of Sample formulations
  • Adher to manufacturing plan
  • Maintain daily records of all samples made in the laboratory
  • General laboratory housekeeping including maintaining a well organised environment, monitoring stock of consumables used, etc.
  • Take role in continuous improvement of processes
  • Awareness of and compliance with related regulatory and legal requirements
  • Attention to detail and accurate record keeping
  • Observing all health and safety requirements and reporting near misses or non-confirmation to line or health and safety Manager
  • Filing of samples, raw materials and documentation on a daily basis
  • Proactive in achieving continuous improvement within the Application Laboratory
  • Carry out ad hoc duties of a similar level and responsibility for other managers and departments, as necessary, with a willingness to be flexible with working hours to respond to the needs of the company
  • Undertake training consistent with developing skills relevant to those duties and responsibilities of the role
  • Be vigilant in matters relating to health and safety within the laboratory and on site
