Overview

GI Pro are working with a leading communications product manufacturer that are recruiting for Assembly Technicians in Ware.

This is a full-time role offering a pay rate up to £15.50 per hour

Working shifts: 8am - 5 Monday-Thursday with 2.30pm finish Friday

The role:

  • Assemble mechanical and electrical products in accordance with technical drawings
  • Test completed assemblies for correct operation.
  • Identify and replace defective assembly components.
  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
  • Investigate and diagnose faults.
  • Working with hand tools, power tools, machinery, and other equipment

The candidate

  • Candidates will have experience of assembling parts and components to build mechanical or electrical products.
  • Be able to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Able to test the assembled components and report any faults.
  • Have a good eye for detail in quality checking of finished products
