HR & Training Coordinator

Our client, a leading independent Oil & Gas operator, based in Norwich are currently seeking an HR & Training Coordinator to join their team in Wareham, Wytch Farm.

This is an initial 12-month contract position, based in Wareham, Wytch Farm, working Monday to Friday.

Key Experience/Qualifications Required:

  • Previous experience within an administrative role.
  • Previous experience within a training role preferred but not essential.
  • Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain a professional manner at all times.
  • Be pro-active, methodical, honest, reliable and flexible.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels

This position shall offer support to the Wytch Farm HR Manager and shall be integral to the running and successful delivery of HR requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • A key part of this role is managing employee queries and the HR mailbox
  • Maintaining up to date and accurate employee files and updating all HR systems and databases
  • Full employee life cycle process administration
  • Managing new starter induction
  • Conduct exit interviews as required
  • Drafting and sending letters as needed
  • Recording absence
  • Support HR Manager with other tasks as needed
  • Organisation of group training courses.
  • Book individuals onto training courses and ensure all necessary information is obtained and passed on
  • Run monthly report to show PCAP figures and create a plan to close out gaps in training requirements on site.
  • Regularly review training providers for course content appropriateness and cost.
  • Administer the sites online computer-based training system
  • Manage and track development training
  • Assist management team when required with presentations etc
  • Coordinate on and off site meetings
  • Manage requests for charity donations and maintain log of donations made
  • Manage the budget for the social fund
  • Man hour reporting for the HSE Team
