As a Synthetic Organic Chemist, you will have the opportunity to work in multi-disciplinary projects in the field of Agrochemistry, towards the creation of next generation weed control products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design safe, sustainable, and effective synthetic routes
- Execute synthesis
- Develop creative solutions to complex synthetic challenges.
- Maintain excellence in modern synthetic methods
- Proactively improve laboratory safety, efficiency, and workflows.
Qualifications:
- Hold a PhD in Organic Chemistry or a closely related discipline
- Experience in industry
- a good understanding of process chemistry and scale up
- Able to summarise and present scientific results
