As a Cell Biology Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for plant tissue Culture in the laboratory for plant breeding programs.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in laboratory plant tissue culture techniques
- Experience with light microscopy, plant dissection, plant embryo culture, and flow cytometry
- Strong aseptic technique and adherence to standard operating procedures
- Ability to handle chemicals safely
- Record-keeping skills for electronic laboratory data
Qualifications and experience:
- Scientific A levels or equivalent education
- Understanding of health and safety in the laboratory environment
- Laboratory experience including chemical handling and aseptic technique
- Basic understanding of laboratory Health and Safety
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks
