With project values typically up to £500,000, we pride ourselves on combining technical expertise with a hands-on, client-focused approach.Role Summary:We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head Surveyor - Construction Manager to take ownership of multiple projects from inception to completion. This hybrid role combines the commercial leadership of a senior surveyor with the operational oversight of a construction manager. You'll be instrumental in delivering refurbishment works efficiently, profitably, and to an exceptional standard.Key Responsibilities:*Lead and manage the full lifecycle of multiple refurbishment projects (up to £500k).*Oversee all commercial aspects including cost planning, tendering, valuations, and final accounts.*Act as the main point of contact between the client, site teams, and subcontractors.*Coordinate and manage site teams, ensuring smooth delivery and adherence to programme.*Prepare and manage procurement schedules, BOQs, and cost reports.*Provide input during design and pre-construction phases, including value engineering.*Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.*Use AutoCAD for planning, reviewing layouts, and coordinating with design teams.*Report regularly to company directors on project progress, budgets, and risks.Candidate Requirements:*Proven experience in a dual surveyor/project or construction management role.*Strong knowledge of residential and commercial refurbishment.*Comfortable managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.*Skilled in both commercial and operational project oversight.*Proficient in AutoCAD (desirable) and other relevant construction software.*Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.*Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.*Full UK driving license.What's On Offer:*Salary range of £65,000 - £80,000, based on experience and capability.*A senior leadership role with real influence in the business.*Diverse projects with a focus on quality and attention to detail.*Supportive team culture with opportunities for growth and progression. #LI-PB1
