Position: IFA Support Team Leader

Location: Caterham, Surrey (2 days per week working from home)

Minimum Requirements: At least 12 months' experience as an Administration Team Leader/Manager at an IFA; at least 3 years' IFA administration experience; possess a strong platforms background (Standard Life and Elevate experience ideal)

Salary/package: £40,000 - £50,000 + annual bonus + 25 days' AL + pension (5%, 5%) + study support + IP + DIS + career progression

YOUR NEW COMPANY:

Our client is an award-winning, UK Top 10 IFA firm based in Caterham, Surrey. The company has significant plans to grow in 2025 and has just begun its search for an experienced IFA Support Team Leader to join its rapidly-expanding Administration team. The IFA Support Team Leader position allows for hybrid working, with the successful candidate working from home 2 days per week.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the firm’s Head of Administration, the IFA Support Team Leader's key duties will include:

  • Managing and leading an IFA Support team of 6
  • Being responsible for the support team's workload
  • Overseeing the team's performance, setting goals, and ensuring team members are well-trained and motivated
  • Helping the team provide administrative and operational support to Financial Advisers
  • Handling client inquiries, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth operations for Financial Advisers
  • Managing client documentation and ensuring compliance
  • Planning and providing effective induction for new team members and ensuring they have a clear development plan

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates interested in the IFA Support Team Leader vacancy will have the following criteria:

  • At least 12 months' experience as an Administration Team Leader/Manager at an IFA
  • At least 3 years' IFA administration experience
  • Possess a strong platforms background (Standard Life and Elevate experience ideal)
  • XPlan experience a bonus

REMUNERATION / PACKAGE:

The package for the IFA Support Team Leader role is as follows:
