We are currently on the lookout for Electrical Installation Engineers for our client based in Wiltshire. the role will be mobile, covering the Wiltshire and surrounding areas.
Salary - 35,000 - 42,000p/a DOE
Hours - Monday to Friday. 40 hour working week.
Role:
- Installing, servicing, upgrading, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Ensuring compliance with national electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Interpreting plans, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer installation guides to complete projects.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues in commercial and residential systems, including fault diagnosis, rewiring, testing, and monitoring.
- Evaluating and sourcing necessary parts, completing work orders, and documenting materials used.
- Identifying and addressing electrical issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
- Delivering high-quality workmanship that meets company standards, adheres to building codes, and follows safety regulations.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent electrical certifications (JIB/ECS Gold Card).
- City & Guilds Inspection and Testing Certificate (2391) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of IEE Regulations, ideally 18th Edition.
- Familiarity with NICEIC standards and requirements.
- Previous experience as an Electrician or Electrical Improver.
- Numerically adept with strong attention to detail.
- Friendly, approachable, and adaptable, with excellent customer service skills.
- Track record of delivering successful outcomes.
- Understanding of policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Team player with strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet specifications and deadlines.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a professional team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to accurately complete necessary documentation.
- Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations.
