Women's Health Practice Nurse

Background –

This is a superb opportunity for a passionate and experienced Practice Nurse specialising specifically in Women’s Health, to join a very well respected and close-knit GP Surgery. The practice is looking for part time (2-3 days) but there is a great deal of flexibility around exact days/hours, etc.

The practice is looking for an experienced Women’s Health Practice Nurse with experience in Primary Care. This role will be focused on taking the lead on Womens Health conditions in general, including sexual health and contraception. You will work alongside other members of the nursing team including other Practice Nurses, HCAs and Nurse Associates.

Salary – £19.40-£22 per hour DOE + NHS pension + 5 weeks annual leave FTE + Bank Holidays + Indemnity + Study

Your role –

• Experienced Women’s Health Practice Nurse within a GP practice setting.
• Lead on Women’s Health conditions, sexual health, contraception, etc.
• Coils, implants, cervical screening, pessaries, contraception advice, general women’s health.
• Part time role – 2-3 days – with flexibility around exact days/hours.
• Benefit from a very supportive MDT around you.
• Extended hours until 8pm once per week.
• No home visits.
