We are looking for an immediate Management Accountant (QBE) who is happy at their level and can deliver accurate, reliable financial reporting without the need for progression on a temp/temp to perm basis in Warrington. Our client is a well-established business in the construction sector, known for delivering high-quality projects and maintaining a collaborative, supportive working environment. Based in Warrington, they are looking for a Management Accountant to join initially on a temporary basis with the opportunity for this to turn permanent for the right candidate.
Description
The Management Accountant duties include:
- Produce monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments
- Maintain trial balance and assist with month-end close
- Process payroll for weekly and monthly staff
- Work with Sage 50, and other relevant systems
- Support the Finance Director and Accounts Payable team
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting deadlines
- Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders as required
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Immediate start/short notice period
- Qualified by Experience (QBE) or solid Management Accountant background
- Strong knowledge of Sage 50, payroll processes
- Ability to produce accurate management accounts and trial balance
- Excellent understanding of accruals, prepayments, and construction industry terminology
- Strong interpersonal skills - able to work collaboratively in a small team
