About the Role

We're on the lookout for a sharp, hands-on Management Accountant to join a solid Finance team. If you're great with numbers, love digging into data, and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, this could be a perfect fit. You'll be the go-to person for pulling together accurate, insightful monthly management accounts across a range of companies. What you do will directly support big-picture planning, decision-making, and business growth.



What You'll Be Doing

  • Producing monthly Management Accounts (P&L by company and consolidated at fund level) - complete with accruals, prepayments, and everything in between.

  • Helping prepare board pack slides for Finance, with clear analysis to the budget.

  • Creating operations packs that non-finance managers can actually understand.

  • Providing clear variance analysis and commentary.

  • Supporting the Financial Controller and senior leaders with easy-to-digest financial insights.

  • Pitching in on budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles.

  • Assisting with annual statutory accounts, including consolidated reports.

  • Keeping monthly balance sheet recs up-to-date and squeaky clean.

  • Handling Royalty Statements with care and precision.

  • Managing Fixed Assets and Capital Expenditure records.

  • Reviewing and signing off ledger transactions from the purchase and sales teams.

  • Presenting KPIs to senior leadership in a clear, compelling way.

  • Jumping into business projects that need a financial lens.

  • Keeping financial controls tight and procedures smart.

  • Being a team player - ready to step in and support whenever needed.

  • Getting involved in system rollouts and helping integrate new acquisitions smoothly.



What You Bring to the Table

  • Solid experience with management accounting and budgeting.

  • Comfortable juggling changing priorities and tight deadlines.

  • Super confident in Excel and Microsoft Office.

  • Great at building relationships with people at all levels.

  • Strong communicator - both written and verbal.

  • Experience with Sage 200? Bonus points!

  • Organised, proactive, and good at managing your time.



Qualifications

  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA).
