Are you a detail-oriented and organised individual with a passion for finance? I am looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic Finance & Business team within a well-established organisation operating across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and distribute sales invoices, liaising with internal colleagues and external customers to resolve queries.
  • Support purchase ledger and expense processing, including invoice verification, approval, and digital filing.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to resolve invoice-related issues and escalate concerns where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across sales and purchase ledgers.

Essential:

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in IT systems including Excel and Outlook.
  • GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with business operations and financial systems.
  • Experience using Sage 200.
