Are you a detail-oriented and organised individual with a passion for finance? I am looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic Finance & Business team within a well-established organisation operating across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and distribute sales invoices, liaising with internal colleagues and external customers to resolve queries.
- Support purchase ledger and expense processing, including invoice verification, approval, and digital filing.
- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve invoice-related issues and escalate concerns where necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across sales and purchase ledgers.
Essential:
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
- Proven experience in an administrative role.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in IT systems including Excel and Outlook.
- GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with business operations and financial systems.
- Experience using Sage 200.
