My established client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join their team.
This role is pivotal in managing and growing both new and existing client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving business expansion.
The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for their clients, proactively managing expectations, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, and delivering solutions at pace.
Your ability to build strong partnerships, identify opportunities for account growth, and maintain a high standard of service will be critical to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities include:
Client Management & Retention:• Develop and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.• Understand client needs and tailor recruitment solutions accordingly.• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, setting clear and realistic expectations regardingtimelines, candidate quality, and market conditions.
Account Growth & Business Development:• Identify and capitalise on opportunities to expand existing accounts, upselling recruitment services and providing strategic workforce solutions.• Stay up to date with industry trends, recruitment best practices, and competitor activities to provide clients with informed and strategic advice.• Recognise and present speculative candidates to current clients where appropriate,maximising opportunities for placements.
Proactive Service & Delivery:• Ensure seamless service delivery by closely managing job requisitions, setting expectations, and ensuring SLAs are adhered to.• Work closely with the Delivery team to ensure client requirements are met efficiently.• Provide feedback loops to recruiters, ensuring alignment with client demands.
Data & Performance Tracking:• Monitor recruitment activity and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure servicelevels, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.• Use CRM tools and recruitment technology to track client interactions and account information performance.
Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution:• Address client concerns promptly, providing solutions that align with both client needs and company capabilities.• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.• Ensure all resourcing activities align with best practices and compliance guidelines.
Key Skills and Experience• Over 3 years’ experience in account management, client relationship management, orbusiness development within a recruitment or staffing agency.• Strong understanding of recruitment processes, service level agreements (SLAs), and talent acquisition strategies.• Demonstrated ability to increase revenue through account growth and strategic client relationship management.• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain strong client relationships.• Ability to manage multiple client accounts, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.• Proficiency in CRM tools and recruitment technology to track client interactions and accounts performance.
