Class 2 Driver
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Warrington to work rotating shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.
Shifts: ROTATING SHIFTS, INCLUDING WEEKEND WORKING -EARLY MORNING (01:00-04:00) STARTS OR AFTERNOON/PM SHIFTS AVAILABLE (14:00-18:00) starts
Pay Rate: (Minimum of 12 hours paid per shift & All breaks fully paid)
- £16.22 PER HOUR (STANDARD 48 HOURS)
- £24.33 PER HOUR (OVERTIME AFTER 48 HOURS)
- Ongoing position with a leading company in the industry
- Benefit from a thorough first-day assessment and two weeks of training alongside experienced staff

Day to Day Duties:
- Working rotating shifts
- Driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Complete 6-7 product deliveries to various stores across the UK daily
- Ensure all loads are maintained at the correct temperatures throughout the journey
- Safely unload cages using a tail lift and deliver them into stores
- Take photos to document successful deliveries
- Address any customer concerns and promptly report them to your line manager
Essential Skills:
- At least 12 months of experience as a Class 2 driver.
- Must hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence
- Must hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
- No more than six points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99)
- No major endorsements
- Strong customer service skills
Desirable Experience:
- Familiarity with cage and temperature-controlled deliveries is a plus
Training:
- First-day assessment followed by two weeks of training alongside a permanent staff member
