The role of the Estimator - Mechanical Building Services will involve:

  • Mechanical Estimator position dealing with a range of mechanical building service & maintenance contracts
  • Receiving and reviewing enquiries from end users and facilities management companies
  • Carrying out site surveys to gain a better understanding of project requirements
  • Review drawings, specifications, and documentation to assist in preparing quotes and support in developing larger estimates
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices
  • Presenting quotes to client and following project through to completion
  • Build and develop client relationships to understand specific client needs and understand key drivers and discover future opportunities
  • Working on projects ranging in value from £10k to £200k

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Mechanical Building Services experience with:

  • Must have experience as a Mechanical Estimator, dealing with a range of HVAC products such as boilers, heat pumps, chillers and ancillaries
  • Working knowledge of heating, domestic water, chilled water and basic gas in live environments
  • Ideally will have a HNC in Building Services, however experience weighs heavier
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office & Estimating software)
  • High levels of attention to detail and organisation
  • Full UK driving license
