Our client is a reputable construction contractor based outside of Warrington, delivering high-quality projects across the North West. They specialise in new builds, refurbishments, and commercial developments, working with a diverse client base across public and private sectors. With a growing portfolio of secured work, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to lead multiple projects from inception to completion.

The Role:

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as the key link between clients, site teams, and senior management, playing a vital role in project success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of multiple construction projects
  • Coordinate with project managers, site managers, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources
  • Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Resolve issues quickly and efficiently to keep projects on track
  • Report regularly to senior leadership on project performance

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and health & safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Relevant construction qualification (e.g. HNC, HND, BSc in Construction Management or similar)
